I was walking along when I saw an egg. I thought I was seeing things at first but then I realized that I was ontop of a very, very, very, very, very, very high mountain and it was snowing. I was shocked. Just a minute ago I was playing at the beach in summer! I walked closer to this egg and saw the date on a little number plate. It said: 18.7.20. My eyes rolled back into my head and I fainted on the spot with shock.I had skipped fordward five years!!!!
It was an ordinary day when I found a picture. I new instantly that it was a wizard but when I looked closer I saw that it was my great, great, great, great, great, great, grandfather: the shadow. I stumbled backwards and realized that I was on the edge of a cliff! To late, I was already air born and plummeting towards the rocky ground below. I landed with a boing, boing and felt a duvey underneath me, I was in my brothers bedroom on his bunk bed. I was so shocked that I fainted on the spot.
Hi, my name is bob and I am a robot sent from mars in the form of a snail. In the current moment I am struggling to do the splits between two crumbs. I am blind and my shell is slightly sun burnt. I'm on a mission to get stood on and I am failing. My mum gave me some green water before and a prune to eat on the way but I scoffed it all over an hour ago. If I die on this mission I won't care because I hate my life.
Ivory green vines curl and grow in spiral patterns, etched in bold against the boggy mist. The doors are forced shut, trapping frightened and nervous family's inside. Misery hangs in the air like a dark rain cloud, preventing any sunshine from peeking through. Eerie ghosts patrol the deserted streets, alone and happy at the same time. Someday someone will return and bring peace and joy back into the world.
I stand here in the pouring rain, not getting soaked because the rain is pelting my favourite umbrella instead. I am setting off on a mighty adventure to gather nuts for winter, but it looks like winter is already here. I jump off the table and scramble up a nearby tree. Thats funny, I thought it was going to be a long adventure, but o well. I push the hard bark and it slides away leaving a gap in the tree trunk. Suddenly I see them, beautiful and golden under the rays of the blazing sun.
I scanned the tree once more and walked closer for a better look. Thick oily liquid dripped from the wilting leaves, making half of the tree the colour of santa's coat. Suddenly something else catches my eye, blazing red footprints lay a track across the courtyard. I follow them, curiosity flooding my thoughts. The mysterious tracks lead around the building and into a small dark alleyway. The footprints stop, I look around and in the corner a small tabby cat lays curled up on the rug that disappeared last week. Looking closer I can see three small kittens curled up to her...
I held my head high as I strode down the road, leading my magnificent dog behind me. whesst, a dart zoomed through the air stabbing into my dogs skull, he dropped to the ground with a mighty boom that shook the earth. I spirited towards him yelling " Benji, Benji " but just as I was about to reach him, his eyes started glowing red and he scrabbled back up on all fours. Then he turned his massive head to face me, I yelped and started running away from him. Boom crack, I heard him gaining on me, but just as I was about to give my hopes up, glug glug, i felt my feet sinking into a golden surface. " Quick sand " I screamed. All hopes were lost, I was doomed. " Help" I whispered to myself as my head sank below the surface.
He yawned and leaned against the wire, staring at the ground.
Waterfalls of salty droplets poured down her face, washing away the dust on her grandma's photograph. Her eyes lit up and they looked as if someone had sprinkled glitter on them. Lucy looked down to find streams of warm brown liquid pouring down the side of her glass and hitting her lap before gushing off the side of the chair and onto the glazed marble floor. I yawned as I fell back into a warm, cushiony surface and the lights shut their eyes. Oily beams of moonlight stretch down through the tufty trees, giving the stream a pearly glow. Icy water curls and flows around my pale toes. The eerie hoots of an owl, ring out through the silent night. A bush russles and a young deer trots into the clearing, dipping it's head to slurp up cool, fresh water.
Finally I was there, my friends had forced me to do this and I was scared. The tall rigged tower of hill loomed above me.
It was time for the long, tiring walk up with my skate-board weighing me down on one side. I could hear water and waves crashing behind me, grabbing at my ankles before slurping back into the dark depths of the sea. It was a long way to the top but I finally reached the great height. Sweat was dribbling down my forehead as I tried to delete the nasty thoughts of being eaten up by sharks at the bottom. As I pushed off, a wave of fear struck through me. Was I going to make it, or was I going to die? |
